The Carriage House Gardens is the perfect destination for hosting outdoor parties, reunions, company picnics, wine tastings, anniversaries—the possibilities are endless!
The Carriage House boasts 3.5 acres of beautiful perennial gardens and sprawling lawns to stroll, surrounded by towering fir trees. The charming 1,200 square foot porch is an eclectic combination of furnishings including red Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs, upholstered loveseats, benches, and our signature red umbrella tables. The entire porch is wrapped in planter boxes overflowing with flowers. Our elaborate buffets are served under white tents, and dining tables are scattered in the shade of our 100 year old orchard. We have horseshoe pits and croquet sets available for your use.
Housing is available in vacation rental homes around the island through one of our hospitality partners. Local concierge service can assist with transportation, groceries, baby-sitting and sightseeing excursions. Lummi Island is peaceful and beautiful and easily accessible from the mainland on our own little ferry, the Whatcom Chief. We are approximately 2 hours from Seattle, 20 minutes from Bellingham, and 45 minutes from Vancouver, BC.
