The Carriage House Gardens is also available for off-site weddings and events. This charming small ceremony was held in the family’s lovely backyard. The Carriage House styled the festivities, designing all of the florals and tablescapes.
Our bride wanted a “farmhouse” feel for her ceremony, so we created a backdrop from an old iron headboard and festooned it with garlands and flowers. Simple wooden benches were complemented by shepherd's hooks hung with milk glass vases of old fashioned roses and garden flowers. Galvanized buckets filled with miniature roses and garden flowers completed the look.
For the champagne receiving line, the bride chose mismatched vintage dishes and linens, which included an old family quilt as a tablecloth. The reception was in a small neighborhood bistro, where we elaborately decorated their “de-constructed” wedding cake and festooned chandeliers and vintage cabinets with garlands and flowers. The tables featured a burlap runner, and galvanized tins containing roses, berries, hydrangeas, and succulents.
